The Cloverdale Wine Walk Is Back, and Its Route Runs Through a Changed Boulevard

On Saturday, November 7, many Cloverdale Wine Walk guests will show their IDs at a massage studio. Tranquility Massage & Spa at 119 S. Cloverdale Blvd. is now one of the event's two check-in desks, and the event's own listing reminds guests that the building is the former Kelley & Young tasting room.

The building changed hands, the wine left, and the address still sends people to the same spot to start the afternoon. Downtown wine here depends less on dedicated tasting rooms and more on shops, salons and offices that host wineries for a day. Over the past year the street has reshuffled around that habit.

A tasting room that became a starting line

Kelley & Young Wines poured at 119 S. Cloverdale Blvd. for close to twenty years. The brand was founded in 2005 and makes food-friendly wines from Alexander Valley fruit grown on the Young family's Geyserville property, which the family has farmed since 1858. In December, the winery told customers that at the start of 2026 the 1,332-square-foot room would move to visits by appointment only, as the Press Democrat reported in June.

On May 15, according to the same report, the owner of Tranquility Massage & Spa bought the building for $710,000. She planned to expand there from a 400-square-foot rented suite at 126 N. Cloverdale Blvd., where the spa had been for more than a decade. The paper said no move date had been given. The spa's own website still lists the Suite B address, so the Wine Walk listing is the clearest public sign that 119 S. is now in use.

The Kelley & Young tasting room page now shows the room as closed from May 2026 and says details on local availability are coming. No replacement address has been announced.

The room no longer pours, and on Wine Walk Saturdays it is where the afternoon begins.

Why the format absorbs a change like this

The Cloverdale Wine Walk describes itself as a collaboration of downtown businesses that host wineries, breweries, pop-up vendors and live music, and the lineup changes every month. The pouring happens inside downtown storefronts, with the wineries brought in for the day. When a winery's own storefront closes, the event doesn't have to replace it.

That model has had time to settle. The walk ran October through May in 2023–24, 2024–25 and 2025–26, which makes this season the fourth documented one.

Here is how November 7 works, based on the event site and the Cloverdale Chamber of Commerce listing:

Detail November 7, 2026
Hours 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Standard ticket $45 early bird online, $50 day-of
Early bird cutoff Midnight Thursday, two days before the event
Designated driver ticket $30, with olive oil or cheese tastings and a lunch-special food ticket
Standard ticket includes Wine tasting at each participating location, olive oil or cheese tastings, a lunch special
Check-in Tranquility Massage & Spa, 119 S. Cloverdale Blvd., or I.SEE. Optical Company, 210 N. Cloverdale Blvd.
Check-in deadline Before 1 p.m., per the event's ABC permit
What to bring ID only; your name is on the list once you buy

The 1 p.m. cutoff matters more than the 3 p.m. end time. Arriving at 1:15 means no wristband, however much of the afternoon is left. The event hasn't published which wineries or businesses will host in November, and its pages say only that participants rotate each month.

The two check-in desks sit at opposite ends of the downtown stretch. One is on the south block, in the hundreds of South Cloverdale Boulevard. The other is a couple of blocks north, in the two hundreds of North Cloverdale Boulevard. Both blocks look different from a year ago.

The south block, before the first pour

Right next to the spa, at 117 S. Cloverdale Blvd., is Pick's Roadside. It reopened on Saturday, January 10, after a renovation funded by Anidel Hospitality, which bought the landmark in 2025, Sonoma Magazine reported.

The new menu leans on Akaushi American Wagyu burgers in three versions: the Roadside, the Pick's, and the Bacon & Blue. There are also regular and spicy fried-chicken sandwiches, a black-bean burger, Schwarz all-beef hot dogs, seasoned fries, milkshakes and Straus soft serve.

The detail that fits the Wine Walk is the wine list. Pick's now pours Sonoma and Mendocino labels by the glass at $12 to $15, among them Roederer Estate Brut, Trione Sauvignon Blanc, Red Car Rosé of Pinot Noir, Martin Ray Pinot Noir and Valravn Zinfandel. So a roadside burger counter next door to the old tasting room now serves local wine itself. Pick's posted winter hours when it reopened in January. Check its current hours before planning lunch there on a Saturday.

January 10 was also the soft opening of the Cloverdale Grange 456 Thrift Shop, around the corner at 201 Commercial St., according to the Press Democrat. Community members and the Grange organized it. It's a short walk off the boulevard if you check in early and want something to do before the pours begin.

The north block, after the last pour

The other check-in desk is at I.SEE. Optical Company, 210 N. Cloverdale Blvd., an eyewear shop. Like the spa, it isn't a wine business.

Across the street at 233 N. Cloverdale Blvd. is North End, owned by Bri Bohanan and Mollie Asay. The shop first opened in April 2024 and moved to this larger space in January 2026 after outgrowing its original storefront, the Press Democrat reported.

A few doors up, at 240 N. Cloverdale Blvd., is the block's largest new addition. The Supper Club at the Cloverdale House Inn held its grand opening on April 11. Sonoma Magazine described it as a Sinatra-era concept built around steak, seafood and classic martinis. Gianna Volpi is the owner, according to a September roundup in the Santa Rosa Signal. The inn's website calls the boutique hotel newly remodeled.

The Supper Club's website calls it an upscale American steakhouse with grilled steaks, handmade pastas and desserts. Dinner runs Wednesday through Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. Reservations are recommended and taken by phone at 707-669-5072.

Put those hours next to the Wine Walk schedule. Pours end at 3 p.m. on November 7 and the dining room opens at 5, both on the same block where one of the check-in desks sits. A first-Saturday plan could start with an ID check at the spa, run north through the afternoon, and end at a steakhouse table. That kind of evening plan simply didn't exist on this block a year ago.

The rest of the season

The event lists its dates as the first Saturday of every month from October 2026 through May 2027. The October 3 walk has already happened. November 7 is the only date currently open for tickets on the event site. On the first-Saturday schedule, the remaining dates fall on:

  1. Saturday, November 7, 2026, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  2. Saturday, December 5, 2026
  3. Saturday, January 2, 2027
  4. Saturday, February 6, 2027
  5. Saturday, March 6, 2027
  6. Saturday, April 3, 2027
  7. Saturday, May 1, 2027

Only the November date has published hours. The later dates follow from the schedule the event states, so confirm each one on the event site before you buy, because hosts and pours change month to month. Whichever businesses host, each remaining walk this season runs along a boulevard that has added a reopened Pick's, a steakhouse at the Cloverdale House Inn, a bigger North End and a Grange thrift shop since the last season opened.

If you own a building on Cloverdale Boulevard, or a home a few blocks from it, a year like this one is worth understanding before you decide what comes next. A street where a spa can take over a tasting room and still serve as the Wine Walk's starting point has a story buyers want to hear.
